Term & Condition

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by Travel Nepal Himalayas Treks Pvt. Ltd., a government-licensed trekking and adventure travel company based in Nepal. By confirming a booking with us, clients agree to the following terms and conditions.

Booking and Confirmation

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.

  • The remaining balance must be paid before the trip departure date or upon arrival in Nepal, as agreed.

  • All bookings are subject to availability.

Payments

  • Payment can be made via bank transfer, online payment, or cash upon arrival, as agreed in advance.

  • Any bank transfer fees or transaction charges must be borne by the client.

  • Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation Policy

  • If a client cancels the trip, the following cancellation charges apply:
  • 30 days or more before departure: advance payment is refundable (minus bank charges).
  • 15–29 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost will be charged.
  • Less than 15 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total trip cost will be charged.
  • Refunds will be processed after deducting applicable expenses already incurred.

Trip Changes and Itinerary

  • Travel Nepal Himalayas Treks Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, safety concerns, natural disasters, political situations, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • No refunds will be provided for unused services due to itinerary changes beyond our control.

Travel Insurance

  • All clients must have comprehensive travel insurance covering trekking, mountaineering (if applicable), medical treatment, emergency evacuation, and trip cancellation.

  • Clients are fully responsible for their insurance coverage.

Health and Fitness

  • Clients must be in good physical and mental health suitable for trekking or adventure activities.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform the company of any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations prior to departure.

  • Travel Nepal Himalayas Treks Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for issues arising from undisclosed medical conditions.

Guides and Porters

  • We provide experienced, licensed guides and trained porters.

  • Porters’ luggage limits must be respected for safety and ethical reasons.

  • Clients are expected to treat guides, porters, and staff with respect at all times.

Risk and Responsibility

  • Trekking and adventure activities involve inherent risks, including altitude sickness, injury, weather changes, and terrain challenges.

  • Clients participate at their own risk and agree not to hold Travel Nepal Himal Treks Pvt. Ltd. liable for accidents, injuries, illness, loss, or delays beyond our control.

Personal Belongings

  • Clients are responsible for their personal belongings, including documents, valuables, and equipment.

  • Travel Nepal Himalayas Treks Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

Compliance with Local Laws

  • Clients must follow Nepalese laws, local customs, and trekking regulations.

  • Any fines, penalties, or legal consequences resulting from non-compliance are the client’s responsibility.

Force Majeure

  • Travel Nepal Himalayas Treks Pvt. Ltd. shall not be responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, or flight cancellations.

Photography and Promotion

  • The company may use trip photographs or videos for promotional purposes unless the client specifically requests otherwise in writing.

3. Acceptance of Terms

  • By booking a trip with Travel Nepal Himalayas Treks Pvt. Ltd., clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
